A 20-year independent wholefood shop tucked away in a back street was to expand and relocate to a three-storey central location, with plans to also add a cafe and deli bar.
It was important to preserve the warm personality of the old shop but elevate its character. We looked at traditional European shop fronts for inspiration. A medley of green colour provided the perfect fascia and continues inside to break up the long interior into cosy sections. Hopefully we succeeded in creating a feeling of quiet age, befitting the shop’s title of Falmouth’s longest running independent retailer.
