Habiterre is a Cornish based, hand crafted interior design practice established by Jill Harrop, with a focus on lifting human experience and making healthy, happy places to live and work. Extremes of light, landscapes and crashing seas inspire the design ethos.

Simple, resourceful materials are a key component of Habiterre’s principles. Jill comes from a career as Senior Design Director for the modern minimalist fashion label ‘Club Monaco’ U.S (Ralph Lauren Group) and later for ‘HeartFelt’, a sustainable luxury travel wardrobe. Jill’s highly tuned style experience translates to refined interiors that use colour, texture and composition with a light understated simplicity.

Favourite projects to date are a mid-century modern take on a VW van, a tiny cabin and a live aboard designed to thrive and survive in Canada’s scorching hot summers and frozen winters.
