60s Bungalow
Falmouth 2016
A client starting a fresh phase of his life wanted his newly acquired south-facing bungalow, just steps from the beach, to feel like a real escape from his working week. Our task was to create a cohesive connection between the open plan kitchen, dining and living room, with the flexibility to feel cosy in the evening and airy in the day time. The furniture was chosen to be flexible, to maintain space. The fabrics created balance between rustic linen and cosy velvet and sheepskin. The design also included extending the deck out and including the garden in the plan, and finally lots of clever lighting options for all the varying living needs and extended views out into the garden.
